TOPIC: Introducing solar power as a new energy AGREE: Davis Symon MODERATOR: Kingsley DISAGREE: Scott Ethan AGREE: It is easy to charge the electricity by just setting panels. They are used in Japan as a big electric power in a second place. The solar power is a free electric power and it can be used by anybody. There are possibility to sell the electricity to electric company. DISAGREE： The solar power has a many problems such as blocking bad weather. And there is a mountain and Apollon, so the weather changes significantly. The tidal current power might be better than the solar power. It will be hard to set big panels on the land. The tidal current power is used in Amami-Oshima and there is no bad effect to fish. FINAL DECISION: CONSENSUS REVIEW: It was good panel discussion and it was lead to consensus. In my opinion, both of the electric plants should be used according to the situation. Because there are weak points for both plants, and they work effectively by they covering each
